Another prestigious award for French in Normandy

Located in the historic capital of Normandy, Rouen, the language school French in Normandy has recently received another prestigious award – the ‘Qualité français langue étrangère’ certification. Awarded by the French government, this acts as an assurance of quality, not only of the excellent language courses on offer, but of the school’s overall high-quality facilities and management.

French in Normandy is open all year round and welcomes students from around the world to learn French in Rouen’s chic Botanical Garden district. The city itself is accessible in one hour from Paris and offers plenty of opportunities for sampling the gourmet food and sightseeing. Some cultural highlights include Mont St Michel, Bayeux Tapestry, The Landing Beaches, Monet's House at Giverny, and many more. The award-winning school offers general and business French lessons for private individuals and groups, and is also a recognised DELF and DALF exam and BULATS and TCF testing centre. Apart from French language courses, the school organises a range of optional extracurricular activities around Rouen to allow its students to experience all the cultural richness the region has to offer, including museum visits, cooking classes and painting afternoons.

The ‘Qualité français langue étrangère’ certification comes as a prestigious addition to French in Normandy’s growing list of achievements, with the school already having been voted ‘Best French Language School’ for the 5th year running by both EducationStars and UED. The scope of this latest certification covers the quality of the French language training provided, as well as the school’s other services, including hosting facilities, premises, equipment and management. It is a formal acknowledgement of the professionalism of the teaching staff, the fact that students are given all the information and support they need, as well as that the premises and equipment is all safe and to the highest of standards.

The Association of International Educational Counsellors (UED) is a Turkish association that, as part of its structure, brings together reputable international educational consulting firms. UED was founded in Turkey in September 2001 with the support of 15 businesses dedicated to upholding professionalism, high standards, and dependability in their services.

UED's objectives are to establish a clear standard for international educational consulting, safeguard its members from potential harm from inadequate representation, guide students who want to apply to foreign schools directly toward reputable institutions, and reduce any issues that may arise as a result of inadequate information and improper intentions.
